Affiliate Disclosure

When we mention a product, the link to the shop often carries a code identifying us as the referrer. If a purchase follows, the shop or the affiliate network it works with pays us a percentage of the sale or a fixed fee. It costs you nothing, it does not change the price you see, and it does not change your consumer rights with that retailer.

Not every link is an affiliate link. Links to manufacturers, reviews, standards bodies, news coverage and source material are plain links we get nothing for.

A brand cannot pay to be recommended here. Specifically:

• No brand, retailer or network gets to see, approve or edit an article before it is published.
• Commission rates play no part in what we cover, how we rank products, or what we say about them. A product that pays us nothing can and does beat one that pays well.
• We do not invent prices, discounts, scores or awards, and we do not publish a deal we cannot point to at the retailer.
• Where a product has a real flaw, we say so on the same page that carries the affiliate link.

Occasionally a brand pays for placement rather than commission. That is a different thing, and we label it as such: sponsored items are marked Sponsored where they appear, and carry their own disclosure naming the sponsor. Sponsorship buys visibility. It does not buy a verdict, and it never changes the editorial text around it.

We write about products people are actually shopping for, in the regions we cover. Our reviews and shortlists are research-based: manufacturer specifications, published testing, warranty and returns terms, pricing across retailers, and the pattern of what owners and other reviewers consistently report. We do not run a lab, and we never present invented test results as our own measurements.

Everything we publish is accurate to the best of our knowledge on the day it is written, and articles carry the date they were published or last updated. Prices, stock, bundles and regional availability move constantly. Always confirm the current price and terms on the retailer’s own page before you buy.
